Slow bite at Lafayette

The weather has been all across the board this past week leaving the fishing around here unpredictable. Lots of reports of good sized bass, yet most seem to be getting away from the fishermen, making for an exciting chase. Two young middle school boys caught a 5 pound largemouth bass with large night crawlers at a dock along the southwest shore from the Visitor Center. (925) 284-9669
