Trout, striper bite improving

Most of the stripers being caught are in the 15 to 16 inch range. And there are plenty. Trout bite is getting better. Limits can be achieved. South Cove is the top spot. Striper Derby leader is a 10.02 pounder caught last week by David Bustos of San Jose using a hairraiser in Cox Cove. Register at the Marina. Cost is $5. (925) 371-2628
