Montana Fish Report

Fish Lake is stocked with rainbow trout, tiger trout and Chinook salmon. Brook trout also are available. A cold front is predicted to drop snow at Fish Lake Tuesday evening through Wednesday, followed by cold, clear weather for the rest of the week, so anglers should be prepared for winter conditions. The lake is currently 68 percent full. Anglers should be aware that a snow park permit is needed to use the USFS lot at the boat ramp in winter. The resort will be open Fridays through Sundays during the winter.
