Trout and whitefish can also be caught when the flows are not too high. However, fishing will be difficult when flows are high. The last day of steelhead fishing was April 30. Anglers are reminded that steelhead, Chinook salmon and bull trout cannot be harvested and must be released.

Hosmer Lake: Restricted to fly-fishing only with barbless hooks
Lake Billy Chinook: Anglers report good kokanee, bass, and bull trout fishing

Ochoco Reservoir: The reservoir is 45 percent full
