Black bass bite is hopeful as water temps start to rise into the fifties. Don’t be surprised to start seeing some giants on the next moon cycle. Most Blackie anglers are sticking with rip baits and a-rigs searching ledges near flats. Others looking to beat the clear conditions are drop shotting 6 and 7 inch worms. Schoolie sized stripes are grabbing minnows drifted in the Indian Creek side. There seems to be a run on small minnows at many area shops. This would indicate a crappie bite but no one is talking.
