Once rain began to fall heavily on Friday, we've seen more and more sturgeon anglers moving up into the system. Water temperatures are warmer and sturgeon are jumping and on the surface more now according to Bob’s Bait in Iselton

Most anglers I see in the shops say grass shrimp is "the hot bait." We prefer eel. Tides are perfect this week for sturgeon fishing. Meanwhile, striped bass fishing has slacked.
