A 2.5 pound crappie was caught by Ryan Litscomb of Santa Clara in the Narrows on March 3 with a nightcrawler, the biggest crappie of the year. Trout fishing is good, especially trolling with white grubs. Not a lot of numbers of fish being caught but there is a good sampling of large trout to 7 pounds at Hat Island, the dam and the Narrows.
