Crappie bite has been good for those using jigs or red worms. Many are larger than a pound. Action is near the dock, coves and main channel in 15 to 20 feet of water. Bass bite is solid. Lunker Point to the ramp has been a good stretch. Jigs and Texas-rigged worms work as do mid-level cranks. Some are 2 to 3 pounds, some smaller and some larger. Smallmouth are starting to bed near the dam and can be caught shaky-heads and small beavers. Senkos also will work. (805) 489-1006
