Quarry Lakes kayakers score trout

Trout bite has been steady. Big fish of the week was a 14.7 pound rainbow was caught by Chris Teng of Fremont who was using a spoon from a kayak. Shore angler Eliseido Sandoval of Fremont caught an 11.10 trout with chartreuse Power Bait. Boats are doing better, especially the kayakers. Best shore spots are Fishermen's Row and both sides of the swim beach. (510) 544-3133
