Shad, stripers, smallmouth in Freeport

Shad bite is solid and females have arrived. Stripers are in the area. Use sardines, pile worms or blood worms for 3 to 5 pounders, but there are a lot of shakers. Smallmouth bass are near the rip-rap and rock piles. Use large minnows or deep-diving crank baits. Freeport Bait (916) 665-1935 J
