Trout biting bait at San Pablo

Trout fishing is best near the Pines where the water is cooler. Surface temp has ranged from mid-50s to low-60s. Catfish bite is good, especially in the back of Scow Canyon with anchovies or chicken livers. Bass fishing is decent for those using crank baits across from the Main Recreation Area. (510) 223-1661
