Santa Cruz halibut biting

Halibut bite is picking up. A 33 pounder was caught last weekend and a handful of 20 pounders are coming from between the Mile Reef and the SC3 Buoy. Mackerel, anchovies and sardines are near shore. Stripers are along the beaches and off the pier. (831) 462-2208
