Special Regs start at Crowley

Trout bite is very good. Bait fishing is best but no-bait fishing begins Aug. 1 when special regulations kick in. Fly fishing is picking up. Trout are spread throughout the lake. Be prepared to move to find the fish. Perch are moving out of the weed bed so trolling with unscented grubs or J5 broken-back Rapalas is more effective.
