Salmon caught at Freeport

Salmon bite has improved. On Sunday, 10 fish were caught near the bridge. That’s the best day, so far. Boaters are jigging. Shore anglers use spinners. Stripers chase swim baits or mudsuckers in the deep water channel. Stripers range in size from schoolies to 20 pounds, but most on the smaller side. Freeport Bait (916) 665-1935
