Sixes River Updates

The river has been running high and muddy, but flows have slowly been dropping into shape. With Chinook season closed, anglers have turned their attention to steelhead. Most anglers fish the river from a boat, but there is some public access in the lower river.

The Sixes River is included in the Rogue South Coast Area for steelhead. Anglers need to have the Rogue South Coast Steelhead Validation to fish for steelhead from Dec. 1 through March 30. Anglers cannot use GUEST CHECKOUT to buy their license, validation and tag.
