South Shore Pond continues to produce well. Most anglers get more than 2 trout per outing. Shore anglers at the South Shore Day Use Point do half as well. Trollers do well near the dam. On the North Shore, trollers head up the narrows or Hat Island. Three-inch white grubs are productive. Trout are in the top 20 feet. Get your bait 200 feet behind the boat. Shore anglers aren’t getting great numbers but there is quality fish in the five pound class. Nightcrawlers or chartreuse garlic-scented Power Bait work well. (209) 763-5915, (209) 763-5166
