Surface temperature is 56 degrees and the water is murky. Trout are being caught from the shoreline near the Main Recreation Area and the Pines. Boaters have been having the best luck at the Rock Wall, Farrells Landing, Sandy Point, and Scow Canyon. Power Bait or Mice Tails work well, but nightcrawlers have been doing really well the past week. The water is muddy from the rains so using strong scented baits is best. The broken-back fire tiger Rapala, Mepps, and Kastmasters are being used to catch trout on the troll. (510) 223-1661
