Eel Lake has been stocked with legal-size trout this week. There are also plenty of holdover rainbow trout and wild cutthroat trout for anglers to catch. Trolling spinners is the best way to cover water and catch trout this time of the year.

The lake also has a decent population of largemouth bass, crappie and bluegill. Fishing for these warmwater fish species will improve as water temperatures warm in late spring.

Approximately 13 miles north of North Bend off Hwy 101.
